Dear Diary,
My parents have completely lost their minds! They just came home and told us kids that we are going to be moving! And not moving anywhere cool, but to some old farm.
What were they thinking?! The closest we’ve ever been to farmers is when we took a field trip to a dairy farm last year.
Mom’s so excited she can hardly contain herself. She’s been going on about how great it is that we are getting this place so late in the year. She says it will give us all the more time to research about farming, before we actually start this spring.
That’s the problem with being homeschoolers. Mom believes anything that requires research is “cool school”.
As I came to my room to write this down, my Mom was asking me how I felt about this news.

Dear Diary,
My parents have just made the best decision this year. They just came home and told us kids that we are going to be moving! And we are going to be moving to the coolest place, a farm!
I think they are totally doing this for me. When we went on a field trip to a dairy farm last year I decided I really wanted to live on a farm. O.k. I’m going to have to leave my friends, but hey maybe I can persuade them to move to the farm right next to us.

As I came to my room to write this down, my mom was asking me if I really was excited about moving or if I was just acting for her sake. As you can tell I am really excited. I wonder why she would question me. She is probably asking me because she knows my brother hates that fact that we are moving away from all his friends.
I visualize myself sitting under apple trees eating an apple and reading my book. I wonder if we will have apple trees on our farm. If not then I want to plant some. I CAN’T WAIT!!!
